As an Operations Master Data Analyst, you'll play a crucial role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our Operations Master Data. You'll support various business functions by ensuring that master data within SAP and associated systems is up-to-date, complete, and consistent. This position is vital for operational success, ensuring smooth business processes related to supply chain, procurement, inventory, production, sales, and finance. Are you up for the challenge?
Accountabilities
Master Data Management:
Create, maintain, and update master data records in SAP, such as Material Master and Bill of Material, and associated systems.
Ensure data integrity and accuracy through regular audits and cleansing activities.
Collaborate with multi-functional teams to gather and validate data inputs.
Use AI, RPA automation to carry out data management activities & suggest opportunities to use more automation.
Compliance and Quality Assurance:
Ensure compliance with global data standards, data lifecycle processes, and company policies.
Work according to current relevant GMP instructions.
Regularly monitor data quality metrics and produce reports on findings.
Identify and resolve data-related issues and discrepancies effectively.
Support and Enhancement:
Support business change projects (e.g., product switches) that have a Master Data element, interpret business change and understand the impact on Master Data.
Assist in the development and implementation of data management processes and standards relevant to your remit.
Provide support to end-users on data management standard methodologies.
Participate in problem-solving & continuous improvement initiatives to enhance data processes and accuracy.
Participate in UAT activities.
Essential Skills/Experience
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
4+ years experience in data management, preferably within SAP.
Basic understanding of SAP modules and their data components.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot data issues.
Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Eagerness to learn and develop new skills in data management and SAP.
Desirable Skills/Experience
Experience with data cleansing and validation tools.
Familiarity with data governance and quality assurance practices.
Basic understanding of data privacy and compliance regulations.
Exposure to Lean ways of working and methodologies.
Understanding of automation technologies, including robotic process automation (RPA), natural language processing (NLP), and machine learning algorithms and potential application in data maintenance.
Experience with AI/ML frameworks like TensorFlow, Chatbot, ChatGPT, or similar, with a track record of applying these technologies to solve complex business challenges.
Experience of manufacturing or supply chain in Pharmaceutical industry.
